Project on a century-old building

 

The project is proposed to abolish the causes of degradation and improve living conditions in relation to use of the monument in order to preserve it and pass it down to the future in the best way, allowing the building to "be itself" without the intervention go to change its perception.

 

To make this possible all proceedings will follow the direction of thinking of data preservation, restoration philosophy that is anxious to hand witness to the value of the monument apart from any critical or aestheticjudgment, but without allowing these precepts force us to follow roads in some cases they may lead to too restrictive decisions and often limiting.

 

The project will be dictated solely by the stringent need to preserve the monument, but, as far as possible, it will avoid any kind of reconstruction that, since operation of reproduction, should be paid off through work to recognition as a unique, unrepeatable object . Conversely deficiencies will be considered as project opportunities, as same as Ambrogio Annoni on the monumental complex of St. Vincent in Galliano.
