Speaking of sustainability applied to the field of architecture, today is no longer enough to design an energy efficient building without assessing the quantity, origin and related processes associated with the materials that we are going to choose.
Not all materials have the same impact on the environment and also the most natural, when considered over the entire life cycle, they may not be very sustainable because of the emissions associated with transport or waste products from their processing.
I therefore decided to carry forward the entire building LCA analysis to evaluate which of the various ideal components, such concrete structures, insulation etc., was in charge of significant impacts on the environment.
